National Training Institute

Next National Training Institute

November 3-6, 2004

New Orleans, Louisiana

The National Training Institute, a two and one-half day annual professional development activity, is designed to provide in-depth training on topics specific to the needs of state directors of adult education and their state staff.  Past topics have included planning statewide initiatives (Going to Scale), developing coordinated funding streams, and integrating research findings into statewide systems.

The NTI provides adult education state staff an opportunity to gain new insight into timely issues, share and learn with their colleagues, and receive practical alternatives to address critical issues within their state adult education systems.  Many of the resources from past NTIís are available online so that states may adapt them for use within their states.
