In this OVAE funded TECH.21 project, the National Center on Adult Literacy (NCAL) and NAEPDC are committed to help states expand and enhance the use of technology in adult education.  We invite you or your designee to dinner and discussions to update you on the latest technology information and consider participating with other states in a collaborative system building project.

Technology Updates

 

In-class technology products for adult learners:  This session will review ABE, GED, ESL technology products that can be integrated into your classroom system.  It will include available research on each.

 

Distance learning technologies for adult learners:  This session will review ABE, GED, ESL distance learning products.  It will include available research on each.

 

Professional Development for integrating technology:  This session will review the teacher training resources available to prepare teachers to integrate technology into their classrooms.  It will include available research on each.

 

Professional Development for supporting distance learners:  This session will review the teacher training resources available to prepare teachers to support adult distance learners.  It will include available research on each.

 

Distance Professional Development:  This session will review the available products and strategies for delivering a wide array of professional development via distance to your ABE, ASE, and ESL teachers and program managers.
